Liability for Retreat Participants T&C

WLC Retreat’s organisers take no responsibility or liability for, and the participant expressly waives any right to hold this retreat’s organisers liable for:

• Any changes or delays in air schedules, missed airlines or others carrier connections or other services;
• Any changes with the travel restrictions from any other Australian states other than NSW;
• Injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, including luggage;
• Additional expenses resulting from changes in exchange rates, tariffs or schedule;
• Additional expenses incurred or due to sudden sickness, weather conditions, strikes or other causes or acts of God.
• Losses due to cancellations.

Travel insurance is recommended.

Liability for Retreat T&C

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Retreat, the participant agrees to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which might be incurred as a result of participating in the retreat, including any travel and any or all activities done with the White Lotus Cleansing Retreats group, or as an individual at the accommodation and facilities provided.

In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Retreat, the participant knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim he/she may have against White Lotus Cleansing Retreats and staff for injury or damages that he/she may sustain as a result of participating in the Retreat.

Cancellation Policy

WLC management refund or give a credit note to participants unable to attend retreats if we have sufficient notification and are able to fill the available room. If management or the participant fail to do so, we are  unable to compensate with neither of the options above. Postponement without extra charges can only be facilitated applying the same logic.

If the NSW government’s travel and gathering restrictions proscribe social gatherings like a retreat per example, we will postpone all retreats. However, none of any other Australian’s states travels or gathering restrictions will be considerate for cancellation.

We hope you understand that as a small business with a boutique offering we have to have certain terms in place for continued operation during this time.

Check-in / Check-out 

Check-in time is 2:00 pm and check out is 10:00 am. We will try wherever possible to accommodate early arrival and/or late departure. Please communicate your preferences with our team.

No refunds will be given on early departure and any outstanding balance will be deducted from the credit card provided.

Maintenance

Please note that the retreat space is a large property that requires regular maintenance and general servicing at times. Whilst we do our best to minimise any disturbance for your group we wanted to let you know that some works may be carried out during your stay such as; lawn mowing, pool maintenance, gardening and other general repairs. We thank you for your understanding.

Payment Details

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. Once the deposit is received via bank transfer or credit card payment, the dates you selected will be confirmed. Final payment is due 4 weeks prior to check-in.

WLC accepts Visa, MasterCard and AMEX. A valid Credit Card is required for a security bond on all bookings made. Please note that there will be a credit card surcharge of 2% for Australia cards and 2.9% for international cards.

COVID 19 Cancellation Policy

If the NSW’s Covid restrictions proscribe social gatherings like a retreat over 20 people,  WLC management will postpone all retreats which would include yours. We will choose the alternative dates with you within 12 months. Our standard cancellation policy stands in all cases. As shown above, the deposits are non-refundable in all cases. All other Australian states’ Covid restrictions won’t be considered by WLC management.

Cancellation Policy 

All cancellations made within less than 4 months of your event will be charged the full booking fee. Under those circumstances no refunds will be allowed.

Trading Terms 

White Lotus Cleansing Retreats reserves the right to release any or all room space if payment terms are not met.

Force Majeure 

White Lotus Cleansing Retreats will not be in breach of this agreement, or any way liable to any party, if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, war, earthquake, riot, explosion, pandemic, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strike, lockout or any other cause not reasonably within the control of White Lotus Cleansing Retreats.

In the event of a force majeure, White Lotus Cleansing will seek to move the retreat date within 12 months from the original booking window.

Additional charges 

Management reserves the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, towels and missing items, late departure and extra cleaning. Any additional charges will automatically be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking following at least one attempt to contact the credit cardholder.

Privacy policy 

White Lotus Cleansing is subject to the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. We will generally collect personal information about you directly from you when you deal with us over the telephone or by letter or e-mail. Normally, the type of personal information collected by us will include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. We may use your personal information for some or all of the following purposes:

-provide marketing information to you about our products and services

-to monitor the standard and quality of service we provide to your or other guests

-If you do not wish to receive these communications from us, you may unsubscribe. If you choose to send email messages to us that contain confidential, private or personal information, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Governing law 

The Law of New South Wales governs your use and occupation of the property during this reservation. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales.
