At Byron Colonics we use the Libbe open system colon hydrotherapy machine and take a more naturopathic approach to your colon hydrotherapy session with treatment plans that focus on longterm goals for optimum digestive health and internal bliss.
All our new patients require a 1.5 hour appointment for the first visit and follow up consulations are 1 hour.

Colon hydrotherapy kickstarts the detox process, particularly in the liver, and causes a major cleansing reaction throughout the body.
Leading a toxic and acidic lifestyle can be the cause of many health problems such as headaches, eczema, aches and pains, body odour, poor concentration, acne, lowered immunity, fatigue, constipation and weight issues.
Can you believe that the average person has 2-6 kilos of toxic waste in the colon. Imagine for a moment what that could be doing to your body internally. Not to mention that 80% of your immune system also resides in the colon. Many times the real cause behind sickness and disease is the retention and reabsorbtion of these toxic wastes.

Colon Hydrotherapy is one of the most gentle and effective ways of gently removing this toxic waste, cleansing the body and restoring health and vitality.
Colon hydrotherapy involoves the gentle infusion of gravity fed, purified, temperature controlled water into the colon through a disposable tube (thinner than a pencil) into the rectum. The gentle flow of water helps loosen and soften impacted fecal matter and waste that has built up on the walls of the colon, which then stimulates natural peristalsis (muscular contraction) and the release of stored waste from the colon.
We use state of the art FDA registered and medically approved “Libbe” colon hydrotherapy open system machine and your therapist is internationally trained and certified. With this we maintain the highest standard of hygiene and practise.
Your certified Colon hydrotherapist will explain the treatment and in total privacy you will insert the lubricated disposable tube with no pain. You will lay back and relax on our colonic bed and be draped during the whole procedure. The treatment will take 40 minutes in which there will be a continuous filling up and releasing of the water and waste. You may have your therapist stay with you and massage your abdomen or you may be left in total privacy. We assure your dignity is completely maintained at all times. There is no mess, no odour and many people find it a very relaxing experience with a wonderfully light and empty feeling afterwards.
The large intestine is also seen as the seat of emotions thus a colonic not only cleanses deeply on the physical level but also works strongly on the mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
